Paul didn't quit have the same results as last time here in Pensacola. After winning here in the Spring in the ASA series. He had a very difficult week from tire problems, a broken axle just before qualifying which made him late reporting to tech so was penalized and given only one lap for qualifying. Paul made it in to the show qualifying 24th with a time of 17.136. In the race he had moved up to 14th by lap 44. At the end Paul worked his way up to finish 8th. Not a bad finish after the problems he had.
